It offers a ranging distance of up to 15 metres, a resolution of 0.75 centimetres, and accuracy within ±1 per cent. In terms of interfaces, it supports I²C configuration and DVP output, utilises a multi-voltage power supply of 1.5 V/3.3 V/28.5 V and is housed in a CoB package, with an operating temperature range of –20 °C to 65 °C. This chip is suitable for applications such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), 3D mapping for robotic vacuum cleaners, security surveillance and AR/VR devices.
2. VI4320 – Precision Single-Photon Time-of-Flight Sensor
The VI4320 features a 64×256-pixel (16K) SPAD array layout with a uniform pixel pitch of 21.44 micrometres and supports a 4×2 pixel binning mode to enhance imaging performance. Its ranging parameters are identical to those of the VI4310 (15-metre ranging range, 0.75-centimetre resolution and ±1 per cent accuracy), and it is fully compatible in terms of interfaces and power supply specifications. This model is particularly well-suited to applications requiring a narrow, elongated field of view, such as autonomous driving LiDAR systems, drone collision avoidance and gesture-controlled interfaces.
3. VI4330 – 76.8K-pixel Advanced Single-Photon Imaging Sensor
As a high-resolution model in the series, the VI4330 features a 320×240-pixel (76.8K) SPAD array with a 15×15-micrometre pixel pitch, supporting 2×2 and 4×4 pixel binning modes. The interface configuration has been upgraded to I²C plus dual MIPI-CSI2/DVP outputs, making it suitable for a wider range of transmission scenarios. This chip is ideal for applications requiring high resolution, such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), industrial 3D machine vision and high-precision mapping for intelligent robots.

Mingjiada Electronics now offers brand-new, genuine Sony IMX459 SPAD LiDAR sensor chips. This chip is the industry’s first stacked dToF single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) depth sensor. It utilises Sony’s back-illuminated pixel structure and Cu-Cu hybrid bonding technology to achieve a pixel size of just 10 μm and approximately 100,000 effective pixels, with a detection range of up to 300 metres. The IMX459 utilises a MIPI CSI-2 interface, supports 4/2-channel transmission, and operates within a temperature range of –40°C to 125°C (automotive grade), making it a core sensing component for automotive LiDAR, autonomous driving and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
